This system calls you in different ways such as fuel cells, fuel cells, chemical energy or "Fuel Cell Technology" as it is best known in this industry. We are distributors for all Latin America and the Caribbean of Doosan Fuel Cell America, Inc. and the system we represent is the "PureCell® Model 400".
These fuel cells use biogas, hydrogen, or natural gas as fuel rather than petroleum. For some types of cells, heat is one of the main derivatives of the operation of fuel cells. However, this technology is classified as "Green Energy" by the minimum amount of emissions.
Currently, fuel cells provide electricity and water to manned spacecraft in the United States and more and more power plants are being installed with this technology around the world. (See Existing Systems).
Each fuel cell is capable of producing several watts of electricity. To obtain more power, the cells are interleaved, together with the interconnecting plates and converted into a fuel cell. Joining the batteries together are enough to power an average house.
In a fuel cell system there are multiple batteries together which we call a "power module", and then multiple power modules, plus a fuel inlet and electrical outlet are assembled as a complete system.
The heat produced by this chemical reaction is reused or recycled and is used for the customer's heating systems, to heat the water, to create steam and with an absorption system can be converted into freezing water. All systems come with this capability.
